Having your own website has many benefits.  Combined with your own domain name and you really look professional.  You don’t need a big fancy website these days especially with all the online community sites that we all belong to and the music sites we sell our music and CD’s on.   It’s real easy for your fans to find all that information and links to all your sites at www.yourdomain.com rather than having to remember all the different sites you have.  There are programs like MicroSoft Front Page and many others that will let you make a nice 1 page or 50 page website pretty easily.  In fact our website hosting service has a built in program that lets you create a website online.  Or you can even set up a WordPress site like this one as your main website and post news and announcements along with providing links to your other sites.  It even includes an RSS feed that your visitors can subscribe to and automatically have your news delivered to their news reader or even browser.  Plus you will be able to have email addresses using your domain name also.   Bottom line is people will find you easier if you have your own website and your own domain name.
