We got some pictures that our friend Marc Fleischner took at our last Coffee Works gig on 5/30/09. It was a good night and the place was packed. I looked at the pictures and remember the fabulous sunset that was happening while we played. It was a very cool background to some of the pictures Marc took. There are always some surprises at the Coffee Works Open Mic night each and every week. This week besides the huge crowd there to perform and others there to listen we had Miss Sherry Wine from Z88.9FM in the audience. Sherry has a show on Wednesday nights called the Blues Cafe and she plays great blues music that you just don’t hear anywhere else. Sherry is an avid music lover and live concert fan and we see her at lots of events. It was real nice having her come by Coffee Works and hang out with us. In case you didn’t know I have been doing a live video feed on tuesday nights of the Coffee Works Open Mic event. It’s a litle primitive but it works pretty well. You can view right on the coffee Works website. There is also a link to the Show Page on the service we use to serve up the stream. Check it out some tuesday night.

We had a fun time once again playing for the folks at St Anthony’s Of Padequa in Hammonton this past Sunday Afternoon. It couldn’t have been a nicer day. The sun was out all afternoon and a nice summer breeze thing was happening. My compliments to the grill masters for the day who cooked up some great chicken that everyone enjoyed tremendously. Thanks a lot for having us again and hop to see you all again next year!
