Tonight’s the night!
Come on out to Coffee Works Cafe in Voorhees and catch BackYard doing their thing. Lots of great covers and BackYard original tunes. We’re playing from 8 to 11pm so stop by anytime.
We will be playing some music at the Hammonton Art Center on Bellevue Ave (near the railroad tracks) on Thursday night August 6th. This is an open door performance which means “the door will be open so come on down”. Always good to see our old friends in Hammonton and play some of our music for you!! We start around 7 and we hope its a nice night. Stop by say Hi and lsiten to a few tunes.
Our friend Marc Fleischner took a bunch of pictures at the Coffee Works Open Mic event recently. We’re going to print some up to go on the wall at the cafe. Marc does excellent work with performers and performance shoots and is available for hire at very reasonable prices. Check out www.mjfphoto.com for more info. So I told you how I have been broadcasting the Coffee Works Open Mic Nights on their website, right? Well I’ve also been streaming some of the other performances too. Its not the best but it works pretty good and it deffinitly captures the feel of the event. I’ve also recorded a few segments of various shows and uploaded them to YouTube. There is no shortage of talent that shows up every tuesday nifght for the Coffee Works Open Mic. Some really stand out as exceptional and Camille Peruto is one of them. 
Camille is a 14 year old singer songwriter who comes out every tuesday night with a new song. She has won awards at school and now she is making her way into the local music world of entertainment. She just played a show this past Thursday night at Coffee Works and the crowd loved her. Watch for her to come back and make plans to go out and see her. You’ll enjoy her and her songs.
