Camille Peruto – Sparrow!!
One of my favorite young artist/performers at the Coffee Works Open Mic is Camille Peruto. Camille has been coming to the open mic since she was 14. This was only two years ago and now at 16 she is proving she has something special. Camille has already opened for main stream acts in many venues and she performs at many different places as a solo artist. She sings fantastically and plays her guitar extremely well. You can catch her at Coffee Works and other places and here’s a video of one of her fantastic original songs.

John Dutton has a New CD
One of the terrific regular performers at the Coffee Work’s Open Mic is John Dutton. John is a singer songwriter from here in South Jersey with a great voice and excellent original music. We now broadcast online video at the Open Mic Night events, live every tuesday, at Coffee Works Cafe. So you can go to their website www.coffee-works.com and click on the Live Video link and check it out. We are also broadcasting select performances from other music nights too, Like right now! Patty Blee, a terrific vocalist and guitarist is playing and it’s pretty cool to be able to peek in and watch the show.

Alan’s last night for a while…
Coffee Works Open Mic News
Next Tuesday July 7th will be the last time we see Alan Sloan at the Coffee Works open mic event for a while. We all know who Alan is and think very highly of him and his musical talents. Alan has collaborated with many of the regulars on many different numbers and instruments. From soprano sax to keyboards he has always managed to WOW the audience. I personally think Alan is a great human being and wish him all the best with his new endeavors in Michigan. Thanks for the memories. We’ll all miss you.
