Special Guest Last Night Sherry Wine
There are always some surprises at the Coffee Works Open Mic night each and every week. This week besides the huge crowd there to perform and others there to listen we had Miss Sherry Wine from Z88.9FM in the audience. Sherry has a show on Wednesday nights called the Blues Cafe and she plays great blues music that you just don’t hear anywhere else. Sherry is an avid music lover and live concert fan and we see her at lots of events. It was real nice having her come by Coffee Works and hang out with us. In case you didn’t know I have been doing a live video feed on tuesday nights of the Coffee Works Open Mic event. It’s a litle primitive but it works pretty well. Open Mic Night at Coffee Works
One of the Best Open Mic events I have ever seen. Coffee Works Cafe is probably the best spot around for live music. Tuesday night is no exception except instead of the featured performers they have every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, it’spacked with local performers waiting inline to get their ten minutes on stage at the Weekly Open Mic Night. The talent is amazing. I am honored to host this great night of performance and invite you to come out and play or just come out and listen, have some coffee and snacks. A very entertaining night and they do have the best coffee around!! Tuesday Nights at Coffee Works Cafe! 7:30 to 10:00 every week with me as your host.

Marc Sengin Retires
Marc has decided to retire his hosting duties at Coffee Works due to overwelming daytime commitments. Marc is not retiring all together and will still perform at Coffee Works as one of their regular weekend performers but for now he is done with the open mic night. So that means I will be hosting most of the time and I look forward to it. I have a great time and think the whole event has become a real class act. SO I’ll see you on tuesday nights at Coffee Works Cafe!
BackYard Coming Up!
BackYard will be playing once again at Coffee Works Cafe in Voorhees NJ on Saturday night, October 11th from 8pm till 11. A great place to hang out and listen to live music and enjoying great coffee drinks, food, goodies or BYOB and just get some snacks. We always have fun playing at Coffee Works and enjoy playing for the folks that come in all night long. So come on out and join the BackYard Party at Coffee Works on October 11th.
This week on Tuesday 9/30/08 BackYard Bob will be hosting the Open Mic event that Coffee Works holds every tuesday night from 7:30 to 10. Always a very entertaining evening so come on out and play.
One more thing! This coming Thursday night, 10/2 , also at Coffee Works, JJ Culpepper will be laying down some blues from 7:30 to 9:30 and BackYard Bob will be joining him on some of it. JJ and Bob have played together a few times now and each time has been a treat for the blues lovers. Bob goes electric and JJ gets funky and together the put it out. SO if you like a good blues jam come on out and see what we can do!
