Our friend Ashley J has a new CD out. She takes great pride in releasing her first CD to the world. It consists of 5 of her original songs all professionally recorded and produced. You can check out more on this terrific singer/songwriter here on her website and order a copy of her CD. You can also get it on iTunes. You can usually catch Ash at Coffee Works when she is not off at school or traveling the world.
Now, Rink, Kris and Bob can say they played at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. Well, it wasn’t on stage or anything but it was still very cool. The Kris Noyes Trio, Bob Rink and Kris Noyes, played our stuff as tons of people came to the Wachovia Center to watch the 76ers play the New Orleans Jazz. We were there with the Woodstock Trading Company to greet people as they came in. Quite a crowd gathered around as we played for an hour before the game and we tore it up. It was a lot of fun and a big thank you to the friends that came out to see us and root us on. And a Big Thank You to Mom and Seth from Woodstock for having us do the event with them.
One of the best blues guitarists playing live at local clubs and festvals is Billy Hector. We were introduced to Billy at Camp Jam a few years back and have seen him a few other places also. Like Dadz in My Holly and Harper’s Pub in Clementon. At Camp Jam he is always the star of the festival and he gets the whole crowd dancin’. He just has the gift!! Found a really great article about the life of Billy Hector and it can be found here. http://blog.nj.com/iamnj/2009/10/billy_hector.html Check it out and if you see him playing somewhere near you be sure and go. You’ll really dig it!
