Here's some of the performers that have come out and had a good time with us.

If you haven't come out yet you should give it a try. It's a fun night for performers and also for people that just enjoy listening to live music.

BackYard is proud to host this monthly event the first Friday night of each month.

Sign ups start at 7:00 and performances start at 7:30

We supply the the sound system which has 3 microphones and the ability to plug in 3 guitars. More microphones can be plugged in if needed but you'll have to bring them with you. The stage setting is comfortable with room for 3 but a couple more people could be squeezed in if needed. If your act has a bass guitar you should bring a small bass amp for your self. Hand drums are good but there is no room for a drum set and we also need to keep setup time to a minimum. Performers get to do as many as 3 songs or about 15 minutes and if we get through the list before closing time then we start the list over giving performers a chance to do a couple more songs if they like. Nights that we have a large crowd we will have to limit the sign ups and possibly the amount of songs you can play. Sometimes there are 8 performers and sometimes 20 so it all depends.

The "Open Mic" stage is best suited for solo acts, duets, trios, poets, or instrumentalists. Sorry but we can not really handle acts that need considerable set up time. Meaning full bands.

"Open Mic Night" at Hammonton Bagel Café is an all ages event and performers must keep that in mind while on stage. Please, no foul language or adult material.

The "Open Mic" event is meant to be fun for performers. If you are a musician coming out to play, we ask that you try and stay for the whole show. This way everyone has a full audience to perform for. So come on out and do your thing for us or just come on out, be entertained, and enjoy the evening.

Hammonton Bagel Café has some of the best sandwiches and wraps in Hammonton along with great munchies, coffee and soft drinks. And lets not forget their fantastic bagels and bagel sandwiches. Come hungry and thirsty and let the terrific staff at Hammonton Bagel fix you up with some food and drink. After all they are the real hosts of the event. Great food and Live Entertainment! What a perfect way to spend a Friday night. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Everyone is invited!

DIRECTIONS: Take Rt. 30 (White Horse Pike) towards Hammonton from the Berlin / Atco area. Once you enter the Hammonton area you will go past the Silver Coin Diner on the right, then McDonalds also on the right. Right after Dunkin Donuts, you will see the HomeTown Video sign, also on your right. That is the little shopping center that Hammonton Bagel Café is in. Its the end store opposite end from Hometown Video. You can't miss it.
